some Christmas cheer!

I know, it seems I have dropped off the face of the internet planet! But, I am here, and so excited about this B-E-A-U-tiful baby!! Could there be a cuter little elf in the whole world, I think not!

I'm In LOVE!

Here are a few "extra's" from their last reception. I just have to post them as I fall in love with them! 

Alisha and Jacob

This is my "favorite" (I have a few favorites!)  aunt and uncle and their family (fun picture, huh)! Their youngest daughter (and last one to get married) was married today. We had beautiful sunshine (although it poured rain for the reception) for a gorgeous day!

It has kind of been a busy week of weddings, but how could I turn down my beautiful cousin's request to have me photograph this day for them!

i actually do take pictures of the couples looking at the camera- i guess that i just love this kind more!! I will have to go find one to put on later!

and, because i just realized that i rarely post pictures of just the groom.....

wow! what a wedding!

Can I just say that this couple is SO wonderful! Jenny comes from a wonderful family in our ward (church) and just has a sparkling personality! I had never met Blair before our engagement shoot and wasn't sure how it would go, but it was great, they were relaxed and at ease in front of the camera.

the wedding day was beautiful- after weeks of rain, it was nice to have sunshine! I am bad with words, so hopefully the pictures say it better! They are a beautiful couple!

we still have one reception to go, so maybe I will be posting more fabulousness!

Wow am I behind posting! I thought I should post a couple pictures to let you know I am still alive! We are moving in a couple weeks (just down the street), but blogging is taking a back seat!

Hannah

I am a bit partial to redheads, this is my niece, Hannah. She was just baptized this past weekend and although it is always crazy when the family gets together I forced my sister into agreeing to a photo shoot. You would think they would appreciate having a photographer in the family- but they only do once they get the pictures back. No one ever wants to take the time to get ready for them. But I know that you get one chance to capture these memories and then they are gone.

So, in our 10 minutes before all the aunts and uncles showed up, I dragged Hannah away from her cousins, out to the freezing cold and wound up getting FABULOUS pictures of her! Not even one complaint- even when I made her walk in the snow in sandals!

just a few favorites

I guess I was in the mood for expressions today. I couldn't help but love that close-up of the two of them, I am captivated with their happiness! :) I am so glad they had me do their wedding, we have been friends with their family for 14 years and I love seeing these kids grow up and be happy!

Christmas Wedding

Ok, I know it doesn't look like a Christmas wedding, that is because we did this photo shoot at thanksgiving--just in case the weather was bad--which it was! The top picture is the day of the wedding and there is a blizzard going on behind them! The second one just shows the pure happiness they have, love love love! And I love this bottom one of everyone inside saying goodbye to the couple, Christmas lights, and trees, happy faces, in love couple - perfect day!
